To: House Vanderborn/Farshore Adventuring Party
I hope this letter finds you well, and enjoying your rest time here in Sasserine. Rudolpho, Ortho and I have finally gotten all the party's 'captured' goods and magic items transported here to town. Mystic Z and Gwen have identified and cataloged all the items and with the help of all the partys various contacts, we have sold all the many pieces. The party has quite a payout due to each of the active 7 members.
Each active party member will receive the sum of 20,000 gp as their share of the sales. This also leaves the tidy sum of 36,807.5 gp in the party fund as a reserve for the eventual need of another True Ressurection. Likely, if our past holds any hint of the future.
Now that the Anvil has been returned to the care of the Clerics of the Traveling God, all our members are free of the unnatural 'need' to pursue that above all else. We can expect to be here in Sasserine for a few weeks and can use that time to rest, prepare for the next encounter, and refocus ourselves on our mission of supporing House Vanderborn in it's plan to defend the Farshore Colony. This also is the perfect opportunity to upgrade our equipment, expand our training and improve our abilities. Please do take advantage of the time we have here.
Attached to this letter, find a copy of the sale inventory. Look over it carefully, and verify your paperwork is in order. Remember also, that each of you are due a payout from the temple Clerics of 14,000 gp upon the delivery and destruction of the foul 'demontainted' weapons. If you have not retrieved your payout from the Clerics, visit the Temple and they will settle your account.
Use these funds wisely. It appears that in the pursuit of Holy Justice, such as we have been engaged, our tasks will become much more difficult and demanding. But nothing that is Good and worthwhile ever is easy.
Your most humble servant
